About EGLF?

The Electronics Global Leadership Forum (EGLF) is an annual IBM-hosted event, held for selected electronics companies located throughout the world. Past EGLF events have been held in Bangalore, Beijing, Shenzhen, Taipei, Shanghai, and Singapore, and have received rave reviews and positive feedback from clients and new customers. The agenda includes plenary session, panel discussions, and breakout sessions to discuss some of the most important business issues and topics concerning the electronics industry. As the Global General Manager, Bruce Anderson is responsible for IBM’s electronics industry business worldwide, including consumer electronics, medical devices, semiconductor, and office, industrial and network equipment segments. Bruce has a deep understanding of the electronics industry, and consults extensively with senior executives to help them optimize business models, organizations, and operations. He has over 25 years of experience helping companies gain competitive advantage through innovative strategies and transformation. Bruce previously led the Industrial Sector supply chain practice as a Partner & Vice President for IBM Global Business Services.

Shally Wang

Prior to her present appointment of General Manager of IBM Greater China Group, Shally has held many leadership positions from products support to various services units, including Vice President of Industry & Value Creation and Vice President of Financial Services Sector at IBM Greater China Group. Shally had been engaging best-fit IT solutions to many clients, facilitating offerings portfolio, building organization capability, leading business and process transformation by leveraging her unique background across application development, systems integration, infrastructure and products services, consulting and Business Partners. Shally Wang has 32 years of IT experience with IBM.

Tracy Tsai

Research Vice President Personal Technologies Gartner Research

Tracy Tsai has 24 years of experience in the IT Industry, with 17 years at Gartner Research. Tracy helps both IT providers and users to evolve, grow, and innovate business by providing deep insight and advice in the areas of Internet of Things, personal devices, connected home, enterprise mobility, and user behavior. She works with executive officers and managers in the areas of product R&D, product planning, marketing, sales and operations, and financial investment. Top initiatives she covers include: New Market Opportunities, Market & Competitive Intelligence, Product Strategy, and Sales & Channel Strategy. Ms. Tsai is also Gartner's lead analyst for Samsung Electronics.

Rick Hamilton

Master Inventor Client Innovation, Watson IoT IBM Corporation

Rick is the most prolific inventor in IBM history and the 23rd most prolific inventor in world history. Rick has deep experience in infrastructure architecture, application development, and managing client engagements. In recent years, he has actively worked to define IBM’s Cloud, IoT, and Cognitive offerings. A frequent analyst and speaker, he has spoken on cloud computing, innovation cultures, and intellectual property management to clients in 29 countries. Rick is a member of the IBM Academy of Technology, IBM Academy of Technology Leadership Teamand IBM Academy of Technology Master Inventor Program. He has over 720 US patents issued and 250 technical publications released on behalf of IBM in varying software, services, and hardware areas.

Peter has been with IBM Bluemix organization since its inception, helping clients with their journey on Cloud. Peter is an Internet of Things evangelist, having presented IBM IoT capabilities at numerous client engagements, meetings, hackathons, and conferences. Peter is also involved with IoT industry bodies, such as AllSeen, MQTT, TIZEN and GENIVI. Prior to Bluemix, Peter was with the IBM WebSphere Software Group for over 15 years, holding various positions in lab services consulting, technical sales, and Tiger teams. He also has deep technical & business skills in Java EE, Integration, SOA, BPM, API and mobile technologies.
