Founded in 1987, Business Weekly is the most influential Chinese business magazine, with an average weekly paid circulation of 147,339 audited by the ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulation) during January to June 2009. It is the largest authenticated circulation in Taiwan.
In January 2007, Business Weekly Magazine published our 1000th issue and officially celebrated our 20th anniversary. It reached an outstanding milestone for us and leads ahead far away from other competitors in Taiwan. Our 1000th issue was titled “Nation of Happiness- Bhutan.” It focused on the importance of GNH(Gross Nation of Happiness). The issue was praised by readers and awarded by many organizations as well.
To mark our 20th anniversary, we launched the “Guest Editor-in-chief” series to invite world respected leaders to be our editors-in-chief. These leaders brought the world latest trends to our readers, from leadership to education, from environment protection to spiritual fulfillment.
Insisting on forward viewpoints, keen news contacts and neutral media angle, Business Weekly reports the changing business world, legends of successful people, the world trend and provides the readers with the first hand intelligence in depth and width.
The typical readers of Business Weekly are 30-45 aged, middle to higher-level managers or entrepreneurs. Most of them are active in business & social lives. The percentage of male and female readers is about 70:30.
Besides the concerns over local news, Business Weekly also sets up the targets of ‘enhancing global view’, ‘integrating professional analysis’ and ‘increase the varieties of contents’ to bridge local enterprises with the world.
Business Weekly belongs to “Tom Group”. Tom Group, whose headquarter is in Hong Kong, is the biggest media group (including publishing and online business) in great China.
